Pappajohn ITC

The Pappajohn ITC is one of the largest computer labs on campus. It is located in C220 in the Pappajohn Business Building.

PBB-ITC Fall 2009 Hours

Mon - Thurs: 7:30 a.m. until midnight*
Friday: 7:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Saturday: noon until 5 p.m.
Sunday: noon until midnight
*restricted access for College of Business students only Monday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

PBB-ITC Hardware

Hardware available in the Pappajohn ITC includes:

  • 127 Dell computers computers with Intel Duo Core 2 processors, each with DVD-CDRW drive, optical mouse, and 17" flat-panel monitor.
  • 2 Epson 1660 scanners.
  • 6 HP Laserjet 4350DN printers.
  • 1 HP Color Laserjet 4650 printer.
  • 12 WebExpress stations in the 2nd floor lounge or on the first floor lounge by Pat's Diner, where you can access Outlook Web Access, ICON, ISIS, Tippie College of Business Website, as well as the internet.You can print from these to the printers in the PBB-ITC.
  • Group study room area in C202 PBB containing 3 private rooms with the above computer configuration, 17" flat-panel monitor, whiteboard, and sharing a central room with a computer configured as above, and a HP Laserjet 4300DN printer.
  • All machines are running Windows Vista as the desktop operating system and are connected to The University of Iowa's Active Directory network.

NOTE: You must use your HawkID to log on to the ITC workstations.

PBB-ITC Printing

We have 6 HP Laserjet 4350 printers for b&w printing and one HP Color Laserjet 4650 for color printing available for student use.

Print accounting in the PBB-ITC is done using The University of Iowa's ITC printing system. For more information regarding this, please go to their web page.
