Petition Process for Direct Admission

Incoming high school students may petition for direct admission to the Tippie College by submitting a request for individual review. Students must be admitted to the pre-business program of study at the University of Iowa prior to submitting a petition. As part of the petition, students submit an application and academic transcripts, as well as respond to a written prompt. Petitions must be submitted using the online form. Decisions are made on a rolling basis and are based, in part, on ACT composite scores or equivalent SAT scores; super scores may not be used.

The petition process for direct admission is now open. Please contact Mike Schluckebier at (319) 335-1037, for more information about the process, or to inquire about the status of a petition.
