Numerous scholarships are available to undergraduate students and applying is easy. Complete one application by the deadline listed below and you will be considered for all scholarships which apply to your individual circumstance.
Undergraduate students (sophomores through seniors) who are enrolled in the Henry B. Tippie College of Business or who expect to be admitted by the start of the fall semester may apply for scholarships by submitting a single application. Students holding renewable scholarships should also submit an application. Applications are available on the College of Business web site in January and are due by February 28.
When a scholarship description indicates the award is for first-year students, this means undergraduates who are entering the University directly from high school.
Prospective first-year students who expect to be directly admitted to the Henry B. Tippie College of Business should consider applying to the Tippie Scholars Program, which offers additional scholarship money.

Accounting Freshman Scholarship
Awarded to entering freshmen planning to major in accounting. Award based on academic merit.
Jo & Bill Barnes Freshman Accounting Scholarship
Awarded to a first-year student planning to major in accounting.
Andrew W. Code Scholarship in Business
To one pre-business first-year student and one pre-business sophomore demonstrating outstanding academic ability. Must be graduates of an Iowa high school. Renewable.
Robert E. and Joan D. Fulton Scholarship
Awarded to a first-year pre-business major. Preference is given to graduate of rural Iowa high school demonstrating financial need.
Lindsay Anne Gibbs Scholarship
To a female first-year student enrolled in the College of Business. Must be a graduate of an Iowa high school.
Kalid Igram Accounting Scholarship
Awarded to a first-year accounting student graduating from a Cedar Rapids area high school. Scholarship is renewable.
Regina G. Markowitz Scholarship
For a first-generation first-year student enrolled in the College of Business. Based on financial need.
Glenn L. Medhus Business Scholarship
To first-year accounting students. Renewable.
Tippie Outstanding Scholar Award
Awarded to first-year students entering the Tippie College of Business in the Tippie Scholars Program. Based on academic merit and financial need. Renewable.
Accenture Scholarship
Merit-based award for a deserving senior U.S. citizen involved in leadership roles on campus and interested in consulting as a career.
Becker Award in Business Administration
To a junior majoring in business. Minimum 3.0 UI cumulative grade-point average during first two years. Preference to students from Marshalltown, Iowa. Renewable.
Raymond L. & Mae Lewis Birkholz Scholarship
To a business student with high academic rating. Renewable.
Hermina G. Brandt Scholarship
To a female graduate of an Iowa high school. Based upon high academics and ability.
Gordon Campbell Scholarship
Awarded to Tippie Scholars Program students based on academic merit and financial need.
Andrew W. Code Scholarship in Business
To one pre-business first-year student and one pre-business sophomore demonstrating outstanding academic ability. Must be graduates of an Iowa high school. Renewable.
Colvin/Cox Scholarship
To needy juniors or seniors who have maintained at least a 3.0 grade-point average and to first-year students admitted to the Tippie College of Business having graduated in the top 25% of their high school class. Preference given to students who are natural born citizens of the U.S.
Garreans Memorial Scholarship
To students in the Tippie Scholars Program.

Award based on academic merit with preference to females.
Robert Holmes Business Scholarship
Awarded to a U.S. citizen in the top 20 percent of their class. Based on financial need.

Awarded to a junior having at least a 3.0 GPA. Award is renewable senior year if maintains 3.0 GPA.

To selected students who demonstrate outstanding academic ability.
Chester A. Phillips/Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship
To selected students in business who are in the upper 10 percent of their class and who demonstrate scholastic ability, character, and financial need.

To selected prospective juniors majoring in accounting who graduated from an Iowa high school. Preference to graduates of Belle Plaine, Iowa, or Benton County high school. Both academic merit and financial need-based awards, with priority on financial need. Scholarship is renewable.
Rosemary Vitosh-Grant Wood ABWA Scholarship
To a female student majoring in accounting. Must show financial need, academic standing, and career potential.

Awarded to students enrolled in business with a major in finance. Students must be Iowa natives and must have graduated from Iowa high schools. Renewable.
Frank Warner Memorial Scholarship
To outstanding students in finance or banking.
E. Lester Williams Scholarship
To selected students in business who demonstrate outstanding academic ability. Preference is given to students from Humboldt County (Iowa) or who have an interest in banking.
The Greater Quad Cities Risk & Insurance Management Society Scholarship
To a student interested in a career in risk management.
IIAI (Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa) Scholarship
Merit-based scholarships for U.S. students enrolled in risk management and insurance program. Scholarship is renewable.
Iowa Insurance & Financial Services Education Foundation Scholarship
For students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a 3.0 or above and completing the Certificate in Risk Management and Insurance (RMI). Students are asked to complete an essay and finalists interview with the institute and the foundation. Preference is given to students interested in completing an internship with the Iowa insurance and financial services industry. Applications are accepted in the fall of each year.

Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame Scholarship
For a student from the state of Iowa and enrolled in the Certificate in Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program. Must be a junior or senior with a GPA of 3.27 or better. Applicants must complete a one-page essay describing their career goals and interest in the insurance, risk management, or financial services industry. Recipients are invited to the Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame induction ceremony in May.

Awarded to junior or senior RMI major. Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a minimum GPA of 3.2. Preference given to minority students and officers/leaders of student-run organizations.
