The Tippie Scholars Program identifies the best and brightest students directly admitted to the Tippie College of Business and provides them the opportunity to pursue academic and professional goals through accelerated and individualized programs of study.

Each year, approximately 30 students are selected to become Tippie Scholars, providing the intimate program size and individual attention that have become hallmarks of the program.

All students eligible for direct admission are eligible to apply to the Tippie Scholars Program. Admission to the Tippie Scholars Program is highly competitive and is based on academic merit, leadership and extracurricular or community involvement, and an essay.

Students selected as Tippie Scholars must maintain a 3.33 University of Iowa grade point average to remain eligible for the program.
