The Tippie College of Business admits highly qualified high school students directly to the Tippie College. All students eligible for direct admission may apply to the Tippie Scholars Program.

To be eligible for direct admission you must:

• Apply to the University of Iowa as a pre-business student
• Have an ACT-Composite score of 27 or above*
• Have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.70 or above (on a 4.00 scale)

Students admitted directly to the Tippie College of Business will:

• Be advised by the staff of the Undergraduate Program Office
• Have full access to Pappajohn ITC (computer lab)
• Be eligible for Tippie College of Business scholarships in your second year

*If you took the SAT and have a combined SAT critical reading and math score of 1210 or above you meet this requirement.
