  RMI Scholarships
  

  The Vaughan Institute will award scholarships to RMI students for the academic year 2009-10 from the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa, The Principal Financial Group, The Cedar Rapids CPCU, one created by recent graduate Peter Berg, and others. Risk Management and Insurance students from any major may apply through the Undergraduate Programs Office Scholarships website. The application deadline is February 28, 2009. The form includes questions asking for information about majors and certificates. To have your name pulled for RMI scholarships, please indicate in the appropriate spaces that you are Risk Management and Insurance student.

  Iowa Chapter CPCU
  

  The Iowa Chapter of the CPCU (Des Moines area) has a $1,500 scholarship available to chapter members and their children. Application form may be found on their website.

Many Vaughan Institute partners will be present, including Grinnell Mutual, AEGON, United Fire Group, and Nationwide. View a full list of participants. On-campus interviews and mock interviews are ongoing, including AEGON (Feb. 10 and March 4-mock), Grinnell Mutual (Feb 12-mock and Feb. 26 interview), Holmes Murphy and Associates (Feb. 19), Sentry Insurance (Feb. 19 Mock), and Cottingham and Butler (Feb. 26).   Student Resume Book

  Goal for completion: By the Feb. 25 Career Fair
  

  Only RMI students and Gamma Iota Sigma members can be included in the RMI resume book that is emailed to nearly 70 individuals and companies. In this tough economic environment, this resume book may give you the edge you need to land an internship or job. Make an appointment today with Viana Rockel for help with your resume, then place your resume on the Pomerantz Career Center's Expo site. Students who were included last semester should update their resume and let us know if you want to continue. All students, including returning students, should sign the release form and drop it by the Institute's offices at S230 PBB. If no one is present, slide the release under the door.
