State Licensing Study Session
In this economy, you need every advantage you can get. You don't have to become a producer to benefit from getting licensed by the State. Obtaining a license can help you with many positions and shows potential employers that you have initiate and drive. Also, although many employers will pay for licensing exams, your resume will rise to the top if you are licensed before applying for a job.
Last year, the IIAI began offering free study materials to anyone wishing to get licensed (an $85 value). This year, they have offered to hold a two-day study session (Friday and Saturday), also free of charge, to students who want to become licensed. After taking RMI classes, getting licensed is easier than you think. We need at least 12 students who are interested in a study session in order to hold the class.
If you are interested, please email Viana and let her know if you are interested in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines. If there is enough interest, we will try to set the dates on a weekend that is convenient for everyone. No credit is offered for this study session.
