There’s no denying the strength of the Tippie Department of Accounting. Named one of the Top 50 undergraduate accounting programs by U.S. News & World Report, the department boasts the highest CPA pass rate in the state of Iowa and the 13th highest pass rate in the country. Accounting majors fulfill special requirements while completing a set of quantitative courses in which they learn how every part of a business functions.
Master of Accountancy (MAc)
Go beyond the numbers to hone the communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills that will drive your accounting career. This graduate program offers four tracks that provide career focus.

VITA
Support the community and gain hands-on experience at the same time. Volunteer to help low- and moderate-income taxpayers by offering free tax preparation through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA).
