English Language Discussion Circles (ELDC)

9/26/2016 - 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

The ELDC's daily discussion circles serve as an open forum to improve language and conversation skills, build relationships, and learn about different cultures.

At the ELDC, we believe that the best part of being a Hawkeye is the great community that we create by investing in and learning from one another. One of the best ways to achieve this investment and learning is through open dialogue and by sharing our experiences with one another. Each day has a new topic or activity that allows us to create this sense of community:

  • Monday: Discuss our weekly topic
  • Tuesday: Games and activities days
  • Wednesday: Discuss current events
  • Thursday: Popular culture/special topic discussion
  • Friday: Open discussion day/special topic discussion

No advanced preparation, registration, or reservation is required - just show up as often as your schedule allows. We look forward to chatting with you and getting to know you better!
