Hard to beat for expanded worldview

The International Business Seminar takes you into the heart of dynamic markets around the world.

We can talk about international business and global commodity prices all day long. Yet there is no substitute for spending time on the ground, meeting with business leaders, and experiencing the culture firsthand. The International Business Seminar is an immersive 10-day experience in doing business globally. Destinations vary—next up is the Baltic country of Estonia and Scandinavia's largest country, Sweden*.

Explore all that Northern Europe has to offer. Visit local and multinational companies and hear from top executives as they share what keeps them up at night. Attend a workshop led by Estonia’s business leaders about life in one of the world's most advanced digital societies. Network with diplomatic representatives from the U.S. and Sweden and get their take on Sweden's mix of high-tech capitalism and expansive social benefits.

Along the way, you'll learn about the complex history that shapes two very different EU economies—plus enjoy a visit to a 1,000 year-old town in Sweden, a guided tour of Tallin's Old Town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and a day trip to Helsinki, Finland.

Jon Fortune

The International Seminar

We learned from a ton of great companies in China: Intel and Lenovo. It was interesting to see both sides of a growing company that has some challenges and to learn from professionals who are seasoned in doing business in China. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to spend 10 days in Beijing and Shanghai with your classmates, to learn from company visits, and culturally to have some great experiences. It was a great way to bring us all together.
