Amy Kristof-Brown, who has served as interim dean of the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business since March 1, will become the college's permanent dean, UI officials announced today.

Amy Kristof-Brown, senior associate dean and Henry B. Tippie Research Professor in Management for the Tippie College of Business, has been named interim dean by UI Executive Vice President and Provost Montserrat Fuentes pending approval by the Board of Regents. Kristof-Brown will begin as interim dean in March 2020 and will serve in this role until a new dean is named following Dean Sarah Fisher Gardial’s departure.

Sarah Fisher Gardial, dean of the Tippie College of Business since 2012, announced today that she will be departing from the college. Gardial will become the dean of the Massey College of Business at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, on March 1, 2020.
