Finance students will soon enjoy collaborative workstations and individual study spaces thanks to a recent gift from Philip and Nicole Hadley of Riverside, Connecticut. The Philip A. Hadley Finance Lab is set to open in fall 2019 and will be located on the second floor of the Pappajohn Business Building, overlooking the West Galleria.

I spent my 21st birthday in Venice, Italy. Before leaving for my study abroad program, many of my friends and family asked me if I was sad I wouldn’t be spending my 21st in the U.S. considering turning 21 is celebrated much differently in America than in Europe. I appreciated their thought; however, I was more than happy to be celebrating by exploring and immersing myself in a new culture.

I arrived in Paderno del Grappa, the town where CIMBA is located, around 4:30PM on Monday. Immediately after getting off the bus, we were instructed to pick up our welcome packets, drop off our things in our rooms, and attend our first welcome orientation meeting.
