The Sustainability Summit is an annual event hosted by the graduate Net Impact Chapter of the Tippie College of Business. This year's event will be held on February 4 from 1:00-6:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Iowa City. The event is free and open to the public.
The summit will consist of breakout sessions, a panel discussion, a keynote speech, and networking (schedule can be found below). Students, faculty, professionals, and staff from all backgrounds are welcome to attend and share their insight.
Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from and engage with business executives about how local businesses are addressing sustainablility issues. Participating executives work with companies such as the Indian Creek Nature Center, Cultivation Corridor, Iowa Energy Center, Honey Creek Resort, Principle Financial Group, and more.
“The Sustainability Summit is a great way for students, faculty, staff, and community members to learn from, meet with, and engage with executives from Iowa businesses about the measures that are being taken to address issues affecting sustainability,” said Net Impact Vice President Blake Ingram.
