The Tippie College of Business is ranked 19th among public undergraduate business programs, up from 22nd, in the latest rankings published by U.S. News & World Report.

The magazine ranks business schools based on a survey distributed to deans and senior faculty members of the 504 undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The college has maintained this accreditation continuously since 1923.

“Our college’s brand is rising,” says Dean Sarah Fisher Gardial. “This reputation for excellence is one that is built brick by brick over many years by a dedicated and innovative team of faculty and staff. I’m proud our college continues to rank highly among the strongest and most competitive schools in the country.”

The college is ranked 31st among all public and private undergraduate business programs, up from 35th last year.

This rankings rise mirrors the University of Iowa’s own. The university as a whole is now ranked 34th among public universities, up from 38th last year. The university also ranked 52nd on the Best Colleges For Veterans list and 77th on the Most Innovative Schools list. The UI was also among the colleges and universities ranked as a Best Value.

The full ranking and methodology can be found on the U.S. News website.
