Ying Yang is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Iowa. She holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Houston. As a behavioral game theorist, she is intrigued by practitioners' challenges such as sales force motivation, optimal compensation design for sales teams, and the pricing strategies of freelance platforms. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Marketing Research, Quantitative Marketing and Economics, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Marketing Letters, etc. She teaches Marketing Research and Professional Selling and serves as the faculty advisor for the Sales & Consulting Club at Tippie.
