Ph.D. Program in Finance
The Department of Finance is committed to offering a Ph.D. program which meets the highest academic standards. We provide students with carefully structured and comprehensive training in finance to equip students to undertake original research under the direction of a faculty member.
The department has a collegial atmosphere, and graduate students are encouraged to interact with faculty as early as possible. The objective of the program is to turn out a relatively small number of students who will produce dissertations enabling them to obtain academic posts in respected research-based institutions. For this reason, entry is highly competitive, and hard work and good performance are expected of all those admitted.
