Ph.D. Program in Finance

The Department of Finance is committed to offering a Ph.D. program which meets the highest academic standards. We provide students with carefully structured and comprehensive training in finance with the aim of equipping them to undertake original research under the direction of a faculty member.

The department has a collegial atmosphere, and graduate students are encouraged to interact with faculty as early as possible. The objective of the program is to turn out a relatively small number of students who will produce dissertations that will enable them to obtain academic posts in respected research-based institutions. For this reason, entry is highly competitive, and hard work and good performance are expected of all those admitted.
