Business professionals need to be prepared to deal with different business customs and practices—wherever they are doing business. One of the best ways to be prepared to do business in today's global economy is to travel abroad. It's that firsthand experience that helps you see the world in a different light.
The Institute for International Business (IIB) is devoted to providing students with those international experiences that prepare them for the working world. There are a number of ways that students can gain firsthand experience in other countries—whether it be a summer internship, a semester abroad, or a shorter interim session course. In addition, the institute works with faculty, community members, and others to expand business horizons throughout the state and the region.
