Billett Receives Collegiate Teaching Award

Tippie faculty member Matt Billett is among twenty University of Iowa faculty members who have received Collegiate Teaching Awards for the 2007-08 academic year.

The awards represent the highest honor a college bestows on its faculty for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Billett is an associate professor of finance and a Henry B. Tippie Research Fellow. He teaches a course on corporate finance, designed to further students' understanding of corporate financial decision making. He also teaches a class on managerial finance, a core course in the college's MBA program that emphasizes fundamental valuation concepts and their applications.
