The University of Iowa and the Henry B. Tippie College of Business have an excellent record of helping students finance their education through scholarships, grants, loans, and other forms of financial assistance. Approximately 88 percent of Iowa students receive some form of aid.
The Tippie College of Business is fortunate to have many donors who are willing to provide financial assistance to our undergraduate students. The College currently has more than 200 scholarships available to help you pursue your education. To be eligible, you must be admitted to the Tippie College no later than the semester following your scholarship application.
Each year the scholarship application for business majors is posted on the Undergraduate Program web site and announced in the Tippie Update during the first week of January. The closing date (no exceptions) for applications is the last day of February. Scholarships are typically awarded near the end of the spring semester.
Prospective first-year students who expect to be admitted directly to the Tippie College should also consider the Tippie Scholars program, which offers additional scholarship money.
