Danny Beyer, Networking Guru, will speak at the Institute's Mentoring Program Kick-off on November 9. All RMI students are welcome to attend. Mentoring students will meet their mentors at this event. One graduate who is currently working at a local insurance company and "loving" his work stated, "This was all started with the Vaughan Institute Mentoring program." After shadowing his mentor, he knew he found his career passion. Don't miss your chance to find your career passion. All RMI students are encouraged to apply to the mentoring program. Application deadline is September 18.
The Vaughan Institute is excited to welcome two new faculty this fall. Associate professor Thomas R. Berry-Stölzle received his Ph.D. at the University of Cologne, Germany, in Risk Management, Insurance and Finance. He will teach Principles of Risk Management and Insurance and Risk Modeling. He comes to us from the Terry College of Business, University of GA. Assistant professor Richard Peter is currently a junior professor at Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. Richard will teach Corporate and Financial Risk Management.
