We're thrilled that you're part of the Business Analytics community. There's plenty to do before you get started, and we know you're busy, so we've laid it all out for you.
New student checklist
Your to-do's before classes start.
||Set-up instructions were in the email you received from firstname.lastname@example.org after you were admitted to the program.|
||Log in to MyUI > "Student Records" > "My Email" > request an email account. This is important—we send all official program communication to your @uiowa email.|
||First, check out the Professional Business Analytics course schedule. When registering, ensure that you are enrolled in the correct section. A special permission code will be sent to you a week before early registration.|
||If you need to defer payment for employer reimbursement, familiarize yourself with the policies and make sure you've submitted the deferred payment form.|
||You can set ICON notifications to receive updates by email.|
||Check on ICON or MyUI/courses to see what textbook or other materials required.|
Resources and services
All are available to current Business Analytics students, both certificate and Master’s.
Need the latest version of Microsoft Office? As a UI student, you can get popular software for a fraction of the retail price through the Campus Software Program. Just need it for a short while? Get the program you need online through Virtual Desktop. For details, go to the University of Iowa ITS website.
The Iowa OneCard is the official identification card of the University of Iowa. To receive a non-photo ID from the University of Iowa, you will need to complete a University of Iowa Non-Photo Student ID Card Request and scan/email it to email@example.com. You can get a University of Iowa picture ID card on the Iowa City campus at the Iowa OneCard Center.
