About us
The Business Student Ambassador Organization (BSAO) represents the Tippie College of Business and the University of Iowa through its very own students called ambassadors. As ambassadors, we share a great passion for Tippie. We guide Pappajohn Business Building visitors, host fun college functions, and assist in student recruitment activities. You can make a true difference within the college as a part of BSAO.
How to join
BSAO recruits every year using an application and interview process. Ambassadors must be admitted or on track to be admitted (Pre-Business) to the Tippie College of Business and have at least two semesters remaining prior to graduation.
Ambassador applications are now being accepted. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 12.
Paid positions
Ambassadors typically dedicate 10 to 15 hours per semester to BSAO and they are compensated for their time. Our members would also note that the invaluable relationships and memories they have gained through the organization make their involvement worthwhile.
Help Tippie be the best
We assist with Tippie events that help recruit the very best future business students. We also facilitate events that bring the college together and maintain Tippie's connected culture.
Polishing your skills
Ambassadors practice their skills in public speaking, event planning, and communication as they interact with Tippie guests. These skills will help you with your academic success and stay with you as you embark on your next adventure after college.
