About us
Phi Gamma Nu (PGN) is a professional development organization made up of diverse individuals who share similar passions for community engagement, professional networking, and gaining real world experience. PGN teaches members a variety of hard and soft skills that are useful beyond academia. We recognize that business relations are successful with students who are adaptable, disciplined, and have great communications skills. Our history of success stems from achieving valuable goals and celebrating accomplishments. PGN creates the leaders of tomorrow. Any student, regardless of year or major, is welcome to join!
How to join
We recruit new members of all majors with the desire to enhance their professional student experience. Our recruitment events are held in the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Feel free to contact us for further information about the recruitment process as well as for any other information.
Diverse network
PGN has a strong network of companies, alumni, and students across the globe. Our expansive and diverse network of individuals allows for us to host educational events for our members personal and professional growth. These growth opportunities allow for all members to more easily obtain and pursue careers in any industry.
Professional aptitude
At our weekly meetings we inform members of opportunities to gain firsthand experience: through leadership experiences, mock interviews, job shadows, and more. These opportunities, when paired with workshops and speakers, allows for our members to have all the necessary soft and hard skills to thrive in any position or company.
Building a community
As an organization we pride ourselves on creating friendships and spending time together outside of classes. Our ability to make a large organization seem small makes our atmosphere welcoming and results in friendships, study partners, and mentors. Other social events we have include bowling, trivia, movie and game nights, and more!
