About us

Phi Gamma Nu (PGN) is a co-ed national business professional fraternity rapidly growing at the University of Iowa. Our fraternity is different compared to other business professional fraternities on campus because it is open to all majors. We teach professionalism in the work place along with real world experience. The main goal of Phi Gamma Nu is the dedication to shaping leaders of the future through networking and valuable work place experience.

How to join

We recruit new members of all majors with the desire to enhance their professional student experience. Our recruitment events are held in the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Feel free to contact us for further information about the recruitment process as well as for any other information.

Diverse Network

PGN has a strong, diverse network throughout the country. Our network allows us to provide educational events for the chapter and people to lean on after our student careers. PGN’s national network has many strong connections in every aspect of the business world bringing you support no matter what direction you take.

Building Professionalism

PGN holds numerous professional events including: employee/MBA student panels, professional speakers, and many more events through our weekly meetings. Not only do we connect our members with the professional world, we provide students with direct professional experience with the numerous leadership positions. The leadership positions available are a great way to enhance your leadership skills and build your resume.

Our work hard atmosphere also saves time for our members to bond socially. With events like group boxing, bowling, and pumpkin carving competitions, Phi Gamma Nu’s family atmosphere will provide you with a friend, study partner, and a mentor.
