Position(s) may range from 50% time (teaching 4 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 8 classes/year) and include a 1-5 year contract with benefits. Faculty also serve the department and college as part of their appointment, including participation in college and department activities, committees, boards, and student organizations.

Analytics is the transformation of data into insight for better decision making, and Business Analytics is the application of Analytics to Business. As the process for transforming data into insight is inherently multi-disciplinary, Business Analytics lies at the intersection of Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics (particularly Optimization), and Business.
