Get Involved in Experimental Economics Research
We invite you to join the Tippie College of Business’ subject pool for paid economic experiments in the current semester. By signing up, you will receive email announcements about upcoming opportunities to earn money by participating in economic experiments.
Economic experiments are used by Tippie faculty to study people’s decisions in economic settings. Participants earn money based on the choices they (and possibly other experimental participants) make. They are paid in cash at the end of the experiment. Most sessions run from one to three hours in length. Payments vary depending on the decisions made by you and others as well as the length of the experiment, but typical earnings range from $10 to $60. Announcements for specific studies will contain more information on possible earnings.
Joining the subject pool does not obligate you to participate in any studies. When we need participants for a particular study, we will contact you with details of the experiment (time, location, typical payment) and ask whether you are available. At that time, you can choose whether to participate.
Thank you,
Experimental Economics Interdisciplinary Research Group
