Online programs offered by the Tippie College of Business have been named among the best in the country in the 2024 rankings from U.S. News & World Report.

The Iowa MBA, launched in 2019, was ranked #29 Best Online MBA in the nation—up 44 spots from #73 last year. The online MBA also rose to #13 in management and #20 in business analytics concentrations. 

In addition, the Iowa MBA program was ranked #23 Best Online MBA for Veterans and the University of Iowa’s general online programs were ranked #9 Best Online Master’s for Veterans. The online Master of Science in Business Analytics, which started offering classes in 2022, is now ranked #20 for veterans.

Programs were ranked based on multiple factors, including engagement, or the extent to which a degree program promotes participation by enabling students to effectively interact with instructors and classmates; services and technologies; faculty credentials and training; and peer evaluations. The rankings were published in the magazine’s Feb. 7, 2024 issue.
