Two of the Tippie College of Business’ graduate and professional programs are ranked among the best in the country by U.S. News & World Report, with both showing gains from last year. 

The college’s Iowa MBA program moved up 3 spots to number 25 in the Best Part-time MBA program ranking. The Iowa MBA offers classes online as well as in-person in Des Moines. Begun in 1966, the program has evolved to meet demand from students for flexibility and added an online component in 2019. It’s ranked 14 among public business schools and is the highest ranked program in Iowa. 

The Master’s in Accounting program was ranked number 35, up 9 spots from last year and number 14 among public programs. It’s the only graduate accounting program ranked in Iowa. 

The two programs are among 50 University of Iowa colleges and programs ranked among the best in their fields in 2024, including 23 among the top 25. The rankings were published on the magazine’s website April 9.
