Two Tippie College of Business students recently took top honors in a pair of categories at the U.S. Information Technology Collegiate Conference case competition in Dallas.

Ashton Stoelk and Isaac McSorley finished in first place in the database and business analytics categories.

In other awards, Jackson Kithcart and Maria Kircher finished in second place in the Microsoft Office category and in third place in the database category.

Evan DeVries and Charlie Ahmer received honorable mention in Microsoft Office, and Alex Conrad and Ben Shabaz were honorable mention in business analytics.

The annual conference is organized by the Foundation for IT Education and provides students who are studying information systems, information technology, computer science, or closely related disciplines with an opportunity to showcase their skills, engage in IT-related competitions, and explore career opportunities. It was held March 20 through April 1, 2023.
