The Tippie College of Business Department of Finance is adding five new members to its Finance Advisory Council (FAC) who bring a wide range of expertise and experience.
The Finance Advisory Council is a board made up of alumni and friends of Tippie dedicated to improving the Department of Finance and offer guidance and support to its world-class programs.
The new members are:
Chris Duey (BBA91), managing director at Principal Real Estate Investors in Des Moines, Iowa. Duey is head of the firm's private debt portfolio management.
Arindam Majumdar (MBA10), deputy chief risk officer with Bank OZK in Little Rock, Ark. He is a subject matter expert on aggregation of risk information and identification and risk indicators.
Jeff Meyerhofer, CEO of Commercial Group for Optum Financial in the Twin Cities. Meyerhofer was previously the COO for Optum, which is part of UnitedHealth Group.
Seth Rosenthal (BBA96), chief investment officer at Academy Asset Management in Chicago. Academy Asset Management is a veteran-owned investment group that specializes in fixed-income portfolio management.
Jessica Thorsheim (BBA07), managing director and head of SFR Real Estate Management for Amherst in Austin, Texas. At Amherst she oversees key strategies for all real estate operations including resident experience and performance, central operations, stabilized renewal leasing, property controls, and asset management.
Through the FAC, Tippie remains committed to refining and improving its programs in finance.
