The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business’ MBA program has been ranked #36 nationally in the 2023 ranking of best part-time MBA programs by U.S. News & World Report, making it the top part-time program based in Iowa for the 13th year in a row.

“This Iowa MBA is designed so students can move at their own pace, customize their curriculum with five concentrations, and choose the course format that matches their learning style. Working professionals require persistent improvement in their skills, and this program meets that need perfectly,” said Dean Amy Kristof-Brown.

Since first participating in the part-time MBA program rankings in 2011, the Iowa MBA has consistently ranked as the state of Iowa’s #1 part-time MBA for working professionals. The program started offering classes online in 2019, increasing flexibility by giving students the option of taking courses remotely or in-person at classroom facilities in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids.

Part-time MBA programs are assessed by U.S. News with a combination of data points that include peer assessment, average GMAT/GRE scores, average undergraduate GPA, years of work experience, and percentage of full-time vs. part-time MBA program enrollment. Statistical data was collected fall 2021 and early 2022.

Highlights of the rankings will be published in U.S. News “America’s Best Graduate Schools 2023” guidebook. A paid subscription to the magazine is required to access all of the information.
