Travel information

The closest airport to Iowa City is in Cedar Rapids, IA (CID). From CID to the conference hotels is about 25 miles and normally takes around 30 minutes. Uber/Lyft are available in the area, but there is no guarantee that you can find a ride from the airport on short notice. We recommend using the Express Midwest shuttle service. If you like, we can help organize group shuttle service for you. Just indicate whether you would like to use the shuttle service and provide your flight details. We will then coordinate with Express Midwest for you. Shuttle pricing will vary by number of individuals in the shuttle but should range from $30 (shared rate) - $90 (solo rate). Once flight information is received via registration, the shuttle service will contact patrons to confirm your ride and set up payment. If you will not be using the shuttle services, please note this in your registration information.
