Rong Su, associate professor of management and entrepreneurship and Mahoney Fellow in the Tippie College of Business, has been elected a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science (APS), one of the highest professional distinctions in psychological science.
APS Fellow status is conferred on a select group of scholars in recognition of sustained, outstanding contributions to the field across research, teaching, service, or applied work.
“This honor reflects Su’s enduring scholarly impact and leadership and marks a significant milestone in her national and international professional standing,” said the APS announcement.
Su is an organizational and quantitative psychologist whose research focuses on individual differences, person-environment fit, career success and career gaps, and quantitative research methods. She is also a fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and she has been ranked among the top 2% most impactful scientists in her subfield for five years. Her work has garnered over $1.9 million in grants to date from funding organizations including the National Science Foundation (NSF) and has been featured by such media outlets as Time and The New York Times.
