Why hire Tippie students?

Year after year, employers return to the Tippie College of Business to find top talent. We attract students from all over the Midwest and the globe, and give them a rigorous business education. But it doesn't end there.

Tippie has a special focus on developing the two competencies employers desire most: communication and problem solving. Problem solving is often hard-coded into our curriculum through experiential learning, internships, and real-world projects.

The University of Iowa is the nation's top public university for writing and communications. The business school has a dedicated communications center, preparing our students to communicate clearly, write persuasively, and convey their ideas effectively.

Post your internship and job openings

Pomerantz Career Center is the university's central hub for posting jobs and internships. Using our online talent platform, Handshake, you can view resumes for undergraduate and master's students, post full-time and internship positions, participate in career fairs, conduct interviews, recruit online, and more. Contact Sherry Rhinehart for more information.
