Fotis Grigoris
Introduction
Foti Grigoris is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. Professor Grigoris’s research interests include asset pricing, macro-finance, and financial econometrics. He has published his research in leading peer-reviewed journals, such as the Review of Financial Studies and Management Science, and his research has received several awards, including the WRDS Best Paper Award.
Prior to joining the University of Iowa, Dr. Grigoris served as an Assistant Professor at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He earned his PhD in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Professor Grigoris grew up in Melbourne, Australia, and received both a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Monash University.
Professor Grigoris currently teaches Investment Management at the undergraduate level and Managerial Finance at the MBA level. His teaching has received awards from both the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Indiana University.
