How is leadership developed? Are leaders born or can it be learned?

These are the types of issues that the faculty of the Department of Management and Organizations study. They dive into the complex issues of management—from the traits of successful leaders and organizations to how personality plays into a work team. They bring this expertise into the classroom and our students benefit from their research and knowledge.  

The faculty within the department includes a roster of tenure-track faculty, experienced lecturers, and adjunct faculty from the corporate sector. Department research is highly regarded and frequenty cited in journals and publications.

The online Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) is offered within Tippie’s management major (entrepreneurial management track) and is a degree completion program for students with existing college credit.
