A sixteen-month investment that pays off for years to come
Tippie's Master of Finance comprises a minimum of 45 semester hours of finance coursework. Most students complete the program in sixteen months. The typical plan of study includes:
- Core courses to develop expertise and critical skills in finance
- Experiential learning courses (examples: managing the equity or fixed income fund, consulting for real clients, research)
- A valuable summer internship
- Electives that dive deeper into your chosen area of focus

Let your interests guide your plan
Even if you've met all your graduation requirements, an optional fourth semester is available. By extending your degree an additional semester, you can continue to immerse yourself in the study of finance, develop additional expertise, tackle research projects, take additional electives, add a second master's through a dual degree program, or even study for professional licensure.
