University of Iowa’s Department of Business Analytics is one of three finalists for the prestigious UPS George D. Smith Prize given annually by INFORMS, the largest international association of analytics and operations research professionals.

The prize recognizes the leading university in the world for excellence in preparing students to practice in the areas of analytics or operations research.  

Over the last decade, Tippie has made extensive investments in educating analytics professionals, spanning an Undergraduate Major in Business Analytics and Information Systems, a Full-time MS in Business Analytics, a Part-time MS in Business Analytics, a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics, a PhD Program in Business Analytics, and multiple joint degrees.
