Our Economics Clarence Tow Public Lecture Series features Professor Kaushik Basu, who is a Professor of Economics and the C. Marks Professor of International Studies at Cornell University. Professor Basu was Chief Economist at the World Bank from 2012 to 2016 and between 2009 and 2012 he was the Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India. He is the recipient of the 2021 Humboldt Research Award.
