The details

Work experience

You need to have completed at least 18 months of full-time, professional work experience before you start classes. Work experience earned after receiving your undergraduate degree can be counted toward that 18 month number—however, if you are a non-traditional student, we can consider work experience gained before your bachelor's.

Essay

If you're applying for full admission, you'll be asked to upload a one-page essay in the online application as a PDF or Word document. The essay question is:

  • Discuss your specific career objectives and how the Iowa MBA will contribute to the accomplishment of your objectives.

Plan your response so it reaches a max length of one typed page.
