Important Information for 2021 Enrollment

In consideration of the health and welfare of our students, faculty, and staff, we have made the decision to hold all Winter 2020 and Spring 2021 Professional MBA courses fully online.

In addition, we’ve made the following changes to our enrollment policies for Spring, Summer, and Fall 2021. See Admissions for full details.

  1. The GMAT/GRE requirement has been suspended for Spring 2021, Summer 2021, and Fall 2021 admission; no score is needed now (or at any point during the program).
  2. You are no longer required to be fully employed at the time of admission.

The details

Work experience

You should have at least 18 months of full-time, post-undergrad professional work experience before you start classes. Work experience earned after receiving your undergraduate degree can be counted toward that 18 month number—however, if you are a non-traditional student, we can consider work experience gained before your bachelor's.

Essay

If you're applying for full admission, you'll be asked to submit a one-page essay in the online application. You can copy/paste or upload a PDF or Word document. The essay question is:

  • Discuss your overall professional goals and how a degree from the Tippie College of Business will allow you to achieve those goals.

Plan your response so it reaches a max length of one typed page.
