Susan Dustin
Introduction
Dr. Dustin’s expertise is in helping organizations to manage their change initiatives. She is currently working on research projects in the areas of leadership, impression management, and team conflict management. She has published articles in several journals including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Human Performance, Applied Psychology, The Case Journal, and the Journal of Professional Selling and Sales Management. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Dustin worked for more than 20 years in a variety of sales and marketing management positions. She also has several years of consulting experience working with a wide variety of organizations in managing change. Her consulting work often focuses on sales process re-engineering, sales training and development, including negotiation, for complex business-to-business selling situations.
Dr. Dustin is a Professor of Instruction in Management & Entrepreneurship and Director of Curriculum for the Management & Entrepreneurship department at the University of Iowa. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa, a M.B.A. from Northwestern University, and a B.A. from Grinnell College. Dr. Dustin primarily teaches courses in Change Management, Organizational Behavior, and Negotiation.
