Yvonne L. Galusha
Introduction
Starting in 1981 Yvonne Galusha enjoyed a successful, fast climbing industry career, which started as an assembly language and C programmer. Next she moved through the ranks of engineering management, and then into senior product management. These twelve years were stimulating and taught many valuable lessons.
Yvonne's first love is computers, but as she grew in the management ranks and learned more about business, finance was her graduate study focus. Yvonne completed an MBA with an emphasis in Finance, and she took several additional graduate courses in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering.
In 1993, to better balance career and family, Yvonne moved into teaching at the collegiate level. She taught at Graceland University for ten years, starting in the field of finance, but ending in the field of information systems.
In 2003, Yvonne advanced her collegiate teaching career by taking a position as a full-time Lecturer in the Management Sciences department (now called Business Analytics) at Tippie College of Business with the University of Iowa. This was a very rewarding move, as Yvonne had opportunity to teach a broad range of technical courses, primarily at the undergraduate level, but also at the graduate level.
