It's time you rule the world of finance and earning a Finance Certificate from one of the leading Finance Programs in the world is a healthy start. The Finance Certificate is made up of five MBA-level courses and brings you that globally acclaimed course content in one neat package.
The program covers financial management principles, corporate investment and financing decisions, risk management theories, wealth management, and more. Credits you earn can count toward the Iowa MBA which has a separate application process.

- Choose either Data and Decisions*—MBA:8150 OR Corporate Financial Reporting*—MBA:8140
- Portfolio Management—FIN:9200
- Corporate Finance—FIN:9300 (previously Corporate Investment and Finance Decisions)
* If this course is waived, you'll take another approved elective from the list below in its place.

Finance electives (except FIN:9160) require you to complete MBA:8180 Managerial Finance first.

- Derivatives—FIN:9210 (Prerequisites: FIN:9200 in addition to MBA:8180)
- Enterprise Risk Management—FIN:9140
- Financial Modeling and Firm Valuation—FIN:9150
- Quantitative Finance and Machine Learning—FIN:9160 (No prerequisite required, but MBA:8180 recommended)
- Real Estate Finance and Investments—FIN:9230
- Wealth Management—FIN:9350
- Entrepreneurial Finance—ENTR:9200 (Prerequisite: MBA:8140)
