Richard Peter, associate professor of finance at the Tippie College of Business, has been named one of the most productive young German business scholars.
Peter ranked 14th among German business researchers under the age of 40 by the German business news weekly WirtschaftsWoche. The ranking was determined by surveying the number of publications between 2018 and 2022 written or co-written by German business researchers, adjusting each for the quality of the journal and the number of co-authors.
While the ranking was dominated by scholars in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, it also included those working at business schools in other parts of the world. More than 500 scholars were ranked in the category. Peter, a native of Lobsing in the greater Ingolstadt area, near Munich, earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral degrees from Maximilians University in Munich.
