The Tippie College of Business remains one of the top 25 public undergraduate business schools in the country and among the top 10 percent overall in the latest U.S. News and World Report college rankings.
The rankings also placed Tippie as the #1 undergraduate business school in Iowa.
Tippie’s undergraduate program is ranked 24th among public business schools and 36th overall.
The college also had several programs ranked among the nation’s best.
--The Department of Business Analytics ranks 34 overall, 17 among public schools
--The Department of Accounting ranks 34 overall, 18 among publics
--The Department of Economics ranks 65 overall, 27 among publics
The university also continues to rank nationally for its writing programs, placing 5th for Writing in the Disciplines among all universities, and the top public university. Tippie’s focus on building students’ writing talents through the Frank Business Communication Center and the Accounting Writing and Communications Program are a significant contribution to that ranking. The Frank Center provides undergraduate business students with the resources needed to ensure they have career-ready communication skills. It’s one of the few centers of its type at a U.S. business school, and it fills a demand from American business leaders for graduates with strong writing and communication skills.
