On October 26, two teams of Tippie students traveled to Ames, Iowa to represent the college in the Fall 2023 PepsiCo Team Sales Challenge versus Iowa State University. The teams were accompanied by Associate Professor of Practice Tom Walsh and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs and Professor of Instruction Charles Keene. 

The participating student teams were:

Team Herky Black–Adeline Dornik, Carolyn McCleary, Nick Bianchi, and Dominique Qualtier.

Team Herky Gold–Brock Lu, Cambrie McBride, Kayla Nutt, and Madeline Rigdon.

Team Herky Gold took first place for the University of Iowa’s sixth team win in the sales challenge competition history. Adeline Dornik of Team Herky Black won the award for best closer.

“We are so proud of our students,” Walsh said. “They showed up early, prepped hard, and were ready to compete. We’ve got serious talent walking the halls at Tippie!”
