The 2024 parade Grand Marshal is Chuck Long (BBA85), finance alum, football coach, and former NFL & Hawkeye quarterback.

Did you know? Chuck Long almost won a Heisman? Despite winning many other awards during his college career, including the Dave O'Brien Award as the nation's best quarterback, in 1985 Long was runner-up to Bo Jackson in what is considered the tightest vote in Heisman history.
