David Curry

David Curry passed away at the age of 81. Curry began his academic career at the University of Iowa as a marketing professor at the Tippie College of Business from 1973 to 1990. A dedicated scholar, he published extensive marketing research, authored a textbook in the field, and mentored numerous graduate students. During his time at the university, he also held visiting professor and consulting roles internationally. Curry later served as a professor of marketing at the University of Cincinnati.
Barbara Davis

Barbara A. Davis (BBA76/MBA77) passed away at the age of 79. After earning a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA from the Tippie College of Business, Davis remained actively engaged with the university throughout her life. These involvements included supporting the Judith R. Frank Business Communication Center and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, establishing the Barbara A. Davis Tippie College of Business Fund, and participating in an Iowa Voyagers alumni trip.
Kevin Keith
May 2, 1952 – April 15, 2026

Kevin Keith (MBA04) passed away at the age of 73. He joined the Tippie management and entrepreneurship faculty as an associate professor of practice in 2010 following a long career at Deere & Company where he held several leadership roles, including group manager of human resources for North America. A dedicated educator, Keith was known for bringing real-world experience into the classroom and preparing students for careers in human resources. He was named Faculty Advisor of the Year in 2020 and retired in 2023.
Susan B. Moore
June 15, 1944 – July 6, 2026

Susan B. Moore (DH65) passed away at the age of 82. While attending the University of Iowa to earn a dental hygiene certificate, she met her future husband, Larry Moore (BBA65). Together, they built a lasting legacy at Tippie by establishing the Larry E. and Susan Benson Moore Business Student Excellence Fund, which supports undergraduate business students. They also made philanthropic gifts benefiting other areas of the University of Iowa, reflecting their enduring commitment to future generations of Hawkeyes.
