Most people are familiar with the term "work-life balance," but what if we thought of it as "work life management" instead? The Pandemic and Mental Health, One Year In: What we've learned and what can help us move forward

Women on Corporate Boards Panel Discussion

Tippie Dean Amy Kristof-Brown led this discussion that highlighted the importance of greater representation of women on corporate board of directors. Panelists included Janice Reals Ellig (BBA68), CEO of the Ellig Group; Sue Taylor (MBA01), Chief Information Officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Boise Cascade board member; Anne-Marie Thomas (BBA83), board member of the Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group and the DUCA Financial Services Credit Union (both based in Canada); and Tracy McKibben, Founder and CEO of MAC Energy Advisors and member of the board of Ecolab, Huntington Ingalls Industries, USAA, the NY Power Authority, the SPAC - ECP Environmental Growth Opportunities Corp., and National Kidney Foundation.

Our university's history is filled with incredible women who helped define our campus culture. Iowa Women's Archives Processing Librarian Anna Tunnicliff shared information on the Archives. She highlighted women who shaped the University of Iowa from within and made it the institution it is today.
