Earn your MBA in two years
We’ve packaged 15 courses in various business disciplines to well-round your experience. Take two courses at a time to finish in two years or one course at a time to finish in three years. And when your investment in your MBA needs to change from one semester to the next, we're here to help. You'll work with your advisor to arrange a plan of study that works for you, regardless of what life, family, or work throws your way.
Best of all, there are no prerequisites to work through prior to enrollment. Take MBA-level classes right away and start applying what you learn from day one.
Sample plans
The 16-week semester is split into two 8-week sessions. The majority of courses follow an 8-week format, with some 11-week Business Analytics elective courses offered. Other options include condensed winter courses or Global Learning Opportunity courses.
The plans below represent one of many ways to earn the Iowa MBA in either two or three years but you set the pace. The program is flexible and you can take up to 10 years to complete the degree. Plan to collaborate with your academic advisor to craft a plan of study that works for you.
